Euan MacLean
Founder & CEO
Euan is the driving force and visionary Founder and CEO of &Parents, an organisation dedicated to transforming parent-school relationships. With over a decade of leadership experience in both UK and international, physical and online, educational settings, Euan brings a unique blend of passion and expertise to his mission of enhancing the role of parents in schools.

Euan's journey in education began as a class teacher, focusing on excellence in teaching and learning. Following a few years of teaching internationally, he returned to the UK and joined what would become a world-leading online school. As Head of Secondary and Principal at an international British online school, Euan further honed his leadership abilities and spearheaded a number of initiatives, contributing to the school's growth and success. As an experienced Safeguarding Lead, he has overseen the safety and wellbeing of thousands of students globally, ensuring that schools not only meet but exceed the highest standards of care and compliance. Most recently, his leadership roles have included Head of Education Operations for world-renowned education group.

Euan’s experience encompasses a broad spectrum of educational frameworks, including British, Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel, and International Baccalaureate (IB) curricula. His work with institutions serving over 6,000 students worldwide has equipped him with the skills to lead diverse teams, implement strategic initiatives, and foster inclusive environments. Euan also has experience with leading preparations for accreditation and inspection with organisations such as The Council for International Schools, Cambridge International, the Council of British International Schools, and also the Department for Education in England. All of these organisations' frameworks have an emphasis on relationships with parents.

Furthermore, as a committed lifelong learner, Euan is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education at the University of Nottingham. His research focuses on parental roles in online secondary schools, underscoring his dedication to understanding and enhancing parent-school dynamics in both physical and online schools. Euan's passion for 'levelling up' the role of parents in schools was the main driving force for founding &Parents. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Member of the Chartered College of Teachers, reflecting his commitment to professional growth and educational innovation.
